What is teambuilding ?
Bringing together all or part of your staff at a group dynamics seminar. The approach focuses on the theme of group cohesion and sharing a value system.

What added value does it bring ?
Greater team cohesion thanks to better mutual understanding and comprehension, greater respect and the establishing (or reminder) of the organization's values.
A greater sense of belonging. Teambuilding is, of course, a way of reminding your staff of the firm’s position, its goals and driving force, but it is also the opportunity to recognize and highlight their efforts and involvement in this success by giving them a unique time of relaxation and amusement, when they can surpass themselves individually and collectively.
When should it be used?
At annual corporate conventions, to go beyond the ritual presentation of results and encourage more interaction with the staff as a whole.
At a change in strategy or organization (appointment of a new management team and the start of a new era).
At the launch of a new product.
To unite the firm around a charter of values defined in common.
To weld a team recently formed for a project, reduce tension in a team where there are disagreements, help a newcomer to fit in, etc., or to lessen tension during a merger.
To create better interfaces between previously compartmentalized bodies.

3 key points for successful teambuilding :
A residential seminar lasting at least 2 days: these two elements are considered necessary for participants to get away from their normal context, revitalize themselves by making a real break with everyday work and have time to establish a climate of trust and open participation.
A carefully balanced combination of analytical activities (values, corporate projects and areas for improvement) and play activities creating cohesion and stimulating the imagination: games (board games, forest orienteering races, treasure hunts in the medina), creative activities with a symbolic side (painting, collage, poems, acting, short films), more or less strenuous sports competitions (triathlon, Olympiads, beach buggy racing, white-water rafting), etc.
The importance of humor, which relaxes the atmosphere, gets key messages across and allows problems to be brought up calmly. “People accept criticism more easily using caricatures than in a serious or official way”. Said NACIRI
